Lasallian Formation Unit

It is this all-coming, deeply transforming love of God that allows us to become, in the words of our Founder, Ambassadors and Ministers. If we are good mentors, administrators, teachers, workers or students, it is because this love helps and enables us to be so."

Rationale

The youth, considered always as the hope and future of our nation and of the Church, look upon those who have gone ahead of them as their mentors. It is fitting therefore that those who are entrusted their growth and development in a holistic way must undergo a genuine Lasallian formation and continuous Christian renewal. As mentors--- faculty, administrators and support staff—we should be the first ones to show what a true Lasallian should be for it is in our deeds and actions the young should see what a Lasallian identity is. The Lasallian Formation Unit (LFU) therefore hopes to effect genuine formation on the values outlined in the Gospel and in the Lasallian Guiding Principles to the adult members of the DLSC having embodied and lived in our daily lives the true Lasallian values, we therefore could claim that we are indeed 'Ambassadors and Ministers' and true witnesses to the Gospel.

Vision

We envision the adult members of DLSC community to have fully lived in their lives the true Lasallian values and identity and continuously strive to perfect themselves to be true witnesses of the Gospel.
