Integrated School Outreach Activities
December 5, 2007As an integral part of the formation of every Lasallian student, DLS-Canlubang offers not only academics and scholastic activities to the Lasallian students, but also extends it to social concern and awareness. Everyone is called to share in the mission of love and communion with those who need help in our society. Therefore, DLSC puts emphasis on education for justice, peace, social responsibility and preferential option for the poor.
Last November 20, 2007, the Outreach program in the Integrated School started by inviting students from Don Jose Elementary School and Carmen Elementary School to mingle with Grade 1-4 Lasallians. While the Grade 5 and 6 students went to Langkiwa Elementary School last November 27, 2007. They shared fun, laughter, friendship and most especially love to one another. These are the things that money can’t buy but can be shared anytime by anyone.
The graduating batch of DLSC Integrated School, specifically Grade 11A and 11B also shared their blessings to the students of Carmen Elementary School last November 29 and December 3, 2007. They taught the public school students catechism lessons and organized fun filled activities for them. This is the essence of the season that we’re celebrating, the season of seeing and loving God through others.
