1st Parent's Assembly Held

De La Salle Canlubang (DLSC) - Integrated School, in its strong belief on school and parent collaboration, had its 1st Parents Assembly during the 1st Trimester Card Giving last September 29, 2007 at the covered court.

DLSC - IS Principal, Mrs. Lily Hope Mendoza welcomed the parents assembly and introduced the Academic Council which works with her and the teachers in guiding and forming the IS students.

Br. Kenneth Martinez FSC, President of DLSC took the opportunity not only to meet and interact with the parents but also oriented them about the life and mission of the school's patron and founder of the Brothers of Christian Schools, St. John Baptist de La Salle. He also mentioned his vision and plans for the school as well as stressed the importance of support of parents and the immediate community of DLSC in the school's continuous growth and improvement. Br. Kenneth also expressed that he hopes more parents will be able to attend in future assemblies during card giving days.

Mrs. Jayna Ramchandani, President of the IS Parents' Association (PA) and the rest of the elected officers for this school year also took their oath of office with Br. Kenneth leading them. After the assembly, the PA officers immediately had a meeting to discuss future plans and programs of their organization before proceeding to the classrooms to get report cards of their children.
