DLSC students win big in Campus Journalism Awards

De La Salle Canlubang college students brought home seven awards from the recently concluded Campus Journalism Awards (CJA) held on January 23, 2009   The CJA encourages student writers to excel in the different areas of journalism, particularly in editorial writing, cartooning, photojournalism and investigative reporting. It is one of the programs under the Student Publications Office of De La Salle University-Manila. First year student Carlo Miguel Saavedra was the Gold Medalist for News Reporting. Paul Garcia, a junior student brought home a gold medal for Editorial Cartooning and a silver medal for Photojournalism. Cat Triviño, also a third year student won two awards - a gold medal for Editorial Writing and a bronze for News Writing. Sophomore Rob Tiongson was the Silver Medalist for Sports Writing. 

DLSU College of Law Forum

De La Salle Canlubang is hosting a forum for the College of Law of De La Salle University – Manila. The forum is scheduled on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.           The newly established college embodies the Lasallian tradition of excellence and service, seeking to develop in tomorrow’s lawyers the compassion and commitment to serve. The College of Law aims to develop future leaders that will promote and uphold the rights of every individual and protect the environment.
