De La Salle Canlubang wins football championship, bags other awards in Guam Youth Games

The Integrated School students of De La Salle Canlubang brought home awards from the first ever Guam Youth Games. The event, which was held from April 11 to 17, 2010, had more than 400 participants from five different private schools in the Philippines. They engaged Guam’s young athletes in friendly games of basketall, football, volleyball, boy’s baseball and girl’s softball.

DLSC bagged five awards from friendly games in basketball, football and softball, most notable of which was the championship for football in the 14 and Under category.

The delegates won second place for 12 and Under basketball and football in the 14 and Under and 17 and Under categories. The 17 and Under Basketball team and the Girl’s Softball team for 14 and Under bagged third place awards.
