The Superior General of the Christian Brothers, Br. Alvaro Rodriguez Echeverria FSC, is in the Philippines for a 6-day visit. Br. Alvaro was welcomed by delegates from De La Salle Canlubang, De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, De La Salle Santiago Zobel and De La Salle – Health Sciences Institute. A forum was held in his honor on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Ugnayang La Salle in DLSU-Dasmariñas.

From the DLSC delegation, Paulo Ambion, Grade 9 student and LINGAP scholar, led the opening prayer. After the open forum, Br. Alvaro was presented with a token by Angelica Magtibay, Grade 10 student and incoming Student Council president. The token presented by DLSC was the LINGAP thank you note, which signified the gratitude of the LINGAP scholars to the people who financially supported the program

The four schools each presented an exhibit to the Superior General after the forum. The DLSC exhibit, which was displayed in the Animo Center of DLS-HSI focused on its care for the environment and the future plans of the school
